Howe House

Howe House at the southern end of the Coach House was originally used upstairs as a hayloft, entrance being gained from barn doors leading off what is now the road, whilst underneath the horses and larger equipment lived. This charming cottage is still situated on two floors under the original Oak beams.

Downstairs there is a cosy living room with deep sofa’s and armchairs. The modern kitchen looks out onto the cobbled yard whilst upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King Size bed and there are a further two single bedrooms. To the rear, there is a lovely view of Brackenthwaite Hows and Grasmoor. The bathroom has both a shower and a bath. Once you step out into the courtyard, you are moments away from Lanthwaite Wood, and a short 5 minute walk to the shores of Crummock Water.
